Erin M. Ochoa

Erin M. Ochoa is a PhD student in the Sociology department at Northwestern University. She holds a Master’s in Computational Social Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Criminology from the University of New Mexico. Her research interests include social disorganization, offender reintegration, and proactive policing.  Through Corners, Erin hopes to learn new quantitative methods and contribute to violence-prevention research.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
