Rebecca Weiland

Rebecca Weiland

Rebecca Weiland, MPH is Associate Director at CORNERS, where she helps oversee the Center's operations. A public health professional with over ten years of research experience spanning clinical, social sciences, community-based participatory , and policy lab research settings, Rebecca is passionate about promoting health equity through engaged research and policy change. She joins CORNERS from the University of Michigan’s Youth Policy Lab where she worked with government and community partners to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Michigan. An Evanston native, in her free time Rebecca can be found bopping around town with her three young children, as well as cooking, jogging, and perusing the farmers market.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
