Naomi Ostrander

Naomi Ostrander

Naomi Ostrander is a Research Project Coordinator at the Center for Neighborhood Engaged Research & Science (Corners) at the Institute for Policy Research. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Studies, and Global Health Studies from Northwestern University in 2018. After graduating, Naomi spent a year at the James B. Moran Center for Youth Advocacy as part of Northwestern's Public Interest Fellowship. She then worked at Sidley Austin LLP as a Paralegal for three years before transitioning to this role. Naomi is excited to bring her skillset and passion back to Northwestern University as a researcher. In her free time, Naomi enjoys rock climbing, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
