Milan Rivas

Milan Rivas is Senior Data Analyst at CORNERS interested in police misconduct, decarceration, and human rights. Milan received both his BA and MPP from the University of Chicago, combining his passions of criminal justice reform and data science. He has previously worked in non-profit journalism, and in direct criminal justice policy reform, largely focusing on the specific issues of Illinois and Chicago.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
