Angelica D’Souza

Associate Director of Research Programs

Angelica D’Souza

Angelica D’Souza is an Associate Director of Research Programs at CORNERS interested in healing-centered community and gender-based violence prevention strategies. She brings a decade of diverse experience serving survivors of violence and their communities in Chicago and in conflict-affected contexts abroad. Angie holds an MPP from the University of Chicago, where she studied conflict and social policy, and a B.A. from Loyola University Chicago.

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
