Nora Benomar

Nora Benomar

Nora Benomar is a Research Project Coordinator at Corners. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Policy and Administration, from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2023. Nora is deeply interested in utilizing evidence-based approaches to inform policymaking and program development, with a strong emphasis on promoting health equity and violence prevention.

In her leisure time, Nora indulges her passion for rugby as both a player and a coach. Additionally, she finds joy in exploring the city, by constantly seeking new adventures and experiences.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
