Adam Shelton is a computational sociologist with experience using Big Data to answer social science research questions. He has primarily conducted research on equity in policing and education in Chicago but has also completed projects on a wide range of other topics such as religiosity, technology, and dating. Adam has an MA from the University of Chicago in Computational Social Science, where he completed his master’s thesis on the interaction of the UChicago and Chicago Police Departments in Hyde Park. In his free time, Adam likes to cook at home, go for bike rides, and travel to new places.
