Eroica Del Real

Eroica Del Real is a Trauma Response Specialist, Certified Drug & Alcohol Treatment Specialist and Violence Prevention Activist. Eroica uses her lived experience in the streets and in prison to demonstrate to others that transformation is possible and to help others strive toward their dreams. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work program at Northeastern Illinois University and is a Field Manager at MFS for various communities in the city.

Featured Projects

Currently, our research focuses primarily on gun violence prevention and community violence intervention (CVI), policing practices, and public safety, and we are expanding into other areas that effect neighborhood health and well-being.
